I&B Minister Javdekar Announces that DD National will re-telecast one of the most popular serials, Shri Krishna, at 9 PM every day starting from May 3.
Shri Krishna is an Indian television epic series, which created, written and directed by Ramanand Sagar.
Shri Krishna was produced by Ramanand Sagar, Subhash Sagar and Prem Sagar under the banner “Sagar Enterprises” and directed by Ramanand Sagar, Anand Sagar and Moti Sagar. Ravindra Jain composed music for this serial. The title song, “Shree Krishna Govind Hare Murari” is popular not only in India but also around the world.
Shri Krishna series originally aired weekly on Doordarshan. The TV series was first broadcast on Doordarshan’s Metro Channel (DD 2) from 1993. In 1996, the show was broadcast from the beginning on DD National. In 1999, the show moved to Zee where the remaining episodes were broadcast.
