Rapper Nicki Minaj gave birth to her first child. Minaj popped the news by sharing pictures of cards sent to her from fellow celebrities wishing her well, including Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Beyoncé.
One of the cards reads: “Congratulations on your new baby boy… he’s sure to fill your hearts with love.”
Minaj confirmed in the caption that she did in fact have a son.
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time,” she wrote. “It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
The rapper, 37, gave birth on Sept. 30 in Los Angeles, People and Billboard confirmed on Oct. 1.
In late July, Minaj announced her pregnancy in a series of Instagram posts.
Nicki Minaj married Kenneth Petty in October 2019.
