Lockdown 4.0: Centre extends lockdown till May 31

MHA has now issued a new order for guidelines to be followed during the fourth phase of the lockdown.

Lockdown 4 would have “new rules” formulated with the suggestions of state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced in an televised address.

Here’s the full text of the government’s order on Lockdown 4:

The activities that remain prohibited across India till May 31 as per the MHA’s latest order are domestic/international air travel, metro rail services, schools/colleges and other educational institutions, hotels/restaurants and other hospitality services except for those housing emergency service workers or being used as quarantine facilities.

Restaurants will be allowed to operate kitchens for home delivery of food items.

All shops, except those in containment zones and malls, will be allowed to open from Monday with staggered timings during lockdown 4.0: MHA
