According to reports of TMZ said Bing had died after falling from the 27th floor of a luxury apartment building in Los Angeles’ Century City, citing anonymous law enforcement sources.

The Los Angeles County coroner said a man was pronounced dead at the scene at 1.10pm local time on Monday, and that identification was pending.

A Los Angeles police spokesman told AFP a male in his fifties had been pronounced dead at the same scene, without disclosing his identity. Both the victim’s age and the location matched TMZ reports.

He is also father to Kira Bonder whom he shares with former pro tennis player Lisa Bonder.

Steve Bing family has appeared on the Forbes list of the 400 richest Americans.
